  6.    DRIVES  INFORMATION
  7.  
  8.      DRIVES is a Windows 3.0 Application that can display the following
  9.      information:
  10.  
  11.             - The fixed disk drives on your system  with:
  12.                      -  The amount of total space on the disk.
  13.                      -  The amount of used space on the disk.
  14.                      -  The amount of available space on the disk.
  15.  
  16.             - Information on each disk is also available with the following:
  17.                      -   The total number of clusters.
  18.                      -   The availavle cluster.
  19.                      -   Sectors per cluster.
  20.                      -   Bytes per Sector.

  23.      DRIVES can also display the following information in an Icon:

  25.             - The drive letter and the amount of free space in K.
  26.

  28.    USING  DRIVES
  29.  
  30.      DRIVES has two ICONS available for you to choose from the
  31.      properties menu. These ICONS are the LyWhit Software logo and
  32.      DRIVES. You can choose the ICON that displays the picture that
  33.      best describes what you want to use DRIVES for.
  34.  
  35.      When DRIVES is started the box will appear at the top left corner of
  36.      the display and will display all the drives and space for each drive.
  37.  
  38.      DRIVES has two main menu options: "Options" and "Help".
  39.  
  40.      Help has three choices for "Exit", "About" and "Help". "Exit" will
  41.      terminate and "About" will display the version number of DRIVES.
  42.      "Help" will display a message that will tell you to read this file
  43.      On-line help will be implemented with the next version of DRIVES.

  45.      The Options menu has three choices for "Update Rate..." , "Icon
  46.      is..." and "Drive info....".
  47.  
  48.      "Update Rate" will allow you to change the rate at which DRIVES
  49.      updates its information. The times range from .10 seconds to 60
  50.      seconds.  The default rate is .10 seconds.
  51.  
  52.      "Icon is" will allow you to choose what DRIVES will display  when it
  53.      is an ICON. The choices are each drive that you have on your system.
  54.      The default choice is Drive C:.
  55.  
  56.      When you minimize DRIVES to an ICON it will display the drive you
  57.      requested in the ICON. This number will continue to be updated at
  58.      the Update Rate that you selected.  When the DRIVES  ICON is enlarged
  59.      all the information will be displayed once again.

  62.  COMMAND LINE
  63.  
  64.      You can also pass command line options to DRIVES. This command line
  65.      option tells DRIVES which disk you want to see in the icon.
  66.      The default is Drive C:.  Use the / and the drive letter for your choice.

  77.      We are releasing DRIVES and TASKS into Shareware at the same time.
  78.      We are asking for One Dollar for each of these programs. We are
  79.      considering this a type of Vote. If we receive $200 nationwide we
  80.      will consider it a YES vote to Windows utilities. If we don't
  81.      receive $200 nationwide for these two programs we will consider it
  82.      a NO vote to Windows Utilities If we can't get 200 people to send
  83.      in $1 across the whole country then we will consider the interest
  84.      to be too low to justify writing any more programs.

  86.      If the vote is YES we will attempt to release 10 utilities for
  87.      Windows 3.0 over the next year.  We will ask for One Dollar apiece
  88.      for these utilities or $10 for all of them. These will include
  89.      Program Launch, Memory Management and various other utilities.
  90.      Currently available Windows Utilities for 3.0 are selling for over
  91.      $100.
